Unterworld was inspired by the question at a Seminar at the UdK Berlin:
“Why would someone decide to shoot with a 16mm / Super 8 camera today?”
Since the discussion on street photography vs. one’s personal rights became a heated one, and since it’s more and more difficult to shoot images of people, especially in the sensitive capital of Berlin, I decided to take a fairly big and noisy Super 8 camera with me while traveling the whole line of the Metro U8 from south to north – and see what happens.
